We have also produced over 15 productions of plays that bring to light social issues such as children in difficult circumstances, child sexual abuse, gender-based violence, sexual rights, and the disabled, amongst many others. Some of the recent productions that we have contributed to are Aruna’s Story, Rajkumari and Ghat Ghat Mein Panchi Bolta Hai.

Compliance and Advisory

  • Sakshi’s POCSO Compliance Program offers educational institutions and workplaces with crèche/children a comprehensive understanding of the Act and capacity building to enable a safe environment for children.

  • To ensure an equal and healthy work environment at the workplace, Sakshi delivers awareness sessions on the Act and trains organizations on the implementation of the guidelines for effective prevention as well as redress.

  • Sakshi employs evaluation tools in a variety of settings as a means of informing, guiding and formalizing the process of removing barriers to Diversity, Inclusion & Gender Equality within an organization in a structured manner.

  • Sakshi’s expertise and experience in creating and advocating for safe spaces allow for the development of training workshops for all members on content production sets. Sakshi offers processes and intimacy coordination to make content creation spaces safe, cautious, and productive.

  • Each year, the Indian film industry produces hundreds of films on concepts of identity, social presence, class, race and gender. Sakshi offers a unique advisory to content creators and production houses through proofreading scripts, vetting audio/visual nuances and messaging, and support in creative development for projects on social change.

  • Sakshi’s pioneering expertise in Preventive Law, in partnership with Naina Kapur Law, offers an integrated and holistic response that extends to provide second opinions, oversight, and support ensuring that your policies and Internal Committee (IC) investigations are legally compliant, well-reasoned, and sound.

Content and Communication

  • Sakshi crafts communication messages by involving the stakeholders in the making. When message receivers become message carriers, when decision-making becomes participatory, when stories are crafted sitting around in a circle, when voices own the spoken words, when the beneficiary takes centre stage, when the message is under the spotlight, we say social arts has come alive!

  • Owing to decades of experience, Sakshi provides production and execution for live performances. We build immersive/interactive theatre experiences in multiple formats. These productions celebrate popular and established stories, unknown stories, stories for social impact, stories of your journey, your company’s achievements, your personal milestones, or stories that etch out your family saga.

  • Sakshi provides film and audio-visual production through its unique communication channel SBOX. SBOX furthers our belief in collective action, initiating projects on pressing issues. We understand that when it comes to captivating the attention of the digital generation, nothing does it better than high-quality Audio-Visual material. Through a collaborative process, we are dedicated to facilitating social and behavioural change through the dynamic flow of ideas and skills.

  • To create a successful campaign, we ensure a clear idea, a singular message, and a definitive call to action. We further utilize visual elements such as colour coding, an anchor image, and memorable text. We target specific platforms and disseminate accordingly. We aim to foster sustained behaviour change through ongoing communication.

  • Sakshi adopts an IEC strategy that involves Information, Education and Communication to be disseminated to target audiences in an attempt to change or reinforce ideas for social good. A thorough understanding of what is currently being practiced, what prevents individuals from following the desired practices and what facilitates them is vital before designing an intervention.

  • All workplaces need to have established codes of conduct and ethics for employees to reference and embody. Our approach towards establishing appropriate codes of conduct and ethics in workplaces involves understanding the organisational culture through a thorough analysis, composing and consulting on codes of conduct, capacitating employees to understand, and implementing the principles to facilitate appropriate interpersonal relationships.

Training and Capacity Building

  • Sakshi drives social change through enlightened leadership and compassionate systems. Their unique workshops and diverse trainers address attitudinal barriers to equality and inclusiveness. The Transformational Leadership Programme fosters collective action and empowers leaders to create safe workspaces. With sessions across South Asia, Sakshi nurtures thought leaders driving sustainable change.

  • Film and TV spaces must be safe and attentive toward the treatment of Consent and Intimacy protocols. Equipped with the knowledge and skills to enable individuals to understand and implement necessary intimacy and consent protocols, Sakshi offers a process to make content creation spaces safe, cautious, and productive.

  • Biases are inherent and a product of interactions with our surrounding environments. However natural and unique they may be, biases can cause interpersonal issues in workplaces. Our approach towards solving the subconscious utilisation of biases involves enabling individuals to understand the unconscious and conscious differences in their biases, recognise them in nature and source, and provide them with a system to eliminate the manifestations of unwarranted biases in the workplace.

  • Child Welfare Committees (CWCs) are essential under the POCSO Act, serving as the final authority for child care and protection. Capacity Building of Child Welfare Committees is an integral requirement in each school to ensure that those addressing the children are well-equipped, informed and able to demonstrate empathy for the issue and complainant.

  • Compliance with the POSH Act requires employers to establish an Internal Committee within the organisation. The Internal Committee is authorised to address, investigate, and resolve all instances of gender-based grievances to create a workplace environment free of discrimination. Capacity Building of the Internal Committee (IC) ensures that the members are well-informed and can identify, document, inquire for all complaints and grievances.

  • Diversity and Inclusion are integral to the structure and culture of an organisation. However, D&I being relatively qualitative terms, do not necessarily provide a clear understanding of their embodiment. Our D&I Alignment training for leaders and heads of organisations enables them to comprehend and quantify the variables of Diversity and Inclusion in their workplace to understand the interventions that are necessary to be made.
